Yarn shops aren't just a place to buy yarn or Knitter's Pride needles and hooks - they're the nucleus of the fiber arts community where you can learn, share and make new friends.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE my LYS!!! It's Silk Road Textiles in Cincinnati. It is so friendly! The open knit groups are always helpful. I've made new knitting friends. The knitting classes are terrific and instructors bend over backwards to make sure you get all the help you need. The yarns are beautiful. I'm so happy I started knitting and I found this wonderful LYS.

ReplyDeleteI just started knitting a little over a year ago. I have picked up someone beautiful yarns and amazing tips from my LYS. It is called Knit and Stitch Boutique. It is in Cocoa Village and every one is very nice.

My local yarn shop is Apples to Oranges in Silverton, Oregon!!! I love this yarn shop because they have a large variety of fabulous yarns, they also have a huge selection of tasty teas and of course Knitters Pride products!
